I am new to the computer and so excited to find your site. My son and I were in Mitchelstown may 03. they 2 guys outside Whitey's bar convinced us to pay 10 euro and said , this is a big band from Dublin. We are from Iowa in the USA.They guys said if we would come in they would give us a flag and the band would sign it. We had a wonderful time that night. My flag was signed Dublin City Ramblers, and The Sheehan family, which i understand is the family of someone in the band and Best Wishes Sean McGunniss . There are 3 guys playing in my picture , banjo, electric piano, and guitar. Looks like Sean standing in the middle. The customers all wanted to sign the flag and they did, wonderful crowd there. I wish i knew the names of the other 2 in the band and i would know if they personally signed my little flag. thank you so much marlene (McCarthy) Oglesby 7519 McDevitt Lne Bernard, Iowa 52032 USA

The Ramblers played Watertown NY 2010.03.11. It was a great experience.
Sean is a very gracious, talented musician.
After the show he spent a long time talking to attendees and signing autographs.
He then retired to a nearby bar to mingle and talk. I'll never forget how he sang "The Fields of Athenry" and allowed me to sing along with him. The atmosphere brought me back to my Irish upbringing in Ontario, Canada.
Thank you Seán
